The Infadels - Love Like a Semtex
Really catchy. Sorry for the recent short posts, traveling about and stuck in the middle of the woods. Enjoy!

Tiesto featuring Tegan and Sara - Feel it in My Bones
An odd pairing that I actually think really works! Tiesto is known for his house beats while Tegan and Sara for the Indie sound. Combined, they produce a sound that is almost a heartfelt club hit. Case in point is:
"Take my heart/I don't need it anymore."
Worth a listen.

Uh Huh Her - Explode
An awesome song from Uh Huh Her's 2008 album Common Reaction. The video suits it quite well!

Moby - Porcelain
A captivating video for one of my favorite songs. On a personal note, I think it captures how people enter each others' lives, touch them, and sometimes have to leave. We are all visitors to each other, so cherish the time you have.
MPHO - Box n Locks
Brand new artist MPHO has a very unique sound. Indie Hip-Hop as it were. "Box n Locks" is off of her 2010 album Pop Art. i have a feeling she is going to be sticking around for a bit.

VV Brown - Leave
I love VV Brown. Case in point is "Leave" from her 2009 album Traveling Like the Light. Enjoy! (Again, I really love her, enough said, you don't believe me? Check out "Crying Blood" below.)

Indie - The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition
Not a dance song, but it holds a special place in my heart. The Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" was featured in the movie 500 Days of Summer. Enjoy!

M.I.A. - Paper Planes
A dance hit classic, M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" was featured in Slumdog Millionaire. Enjoy!

Jay Z - On to the Next One.
Jay Z's new single "On to the Next One" from the album Blueprint was released and aired on New Year's. Very appropriate. Gotta say, I couldn't agree more.

Cher - Believe
Gearing up for the Dance Therapy Party, I rediscovered this one. A good hit from a classic Diva.
P.S. I know you don't read this blog, but in case you ever do look, I'm getting nearer to being okay. Slowly. Painfully slowly.

3!Oh!3 with Katy Perry - Starstrukk
Gotta say, this song would be a lot better without the whistling. Additionally, I got say that Katy Perry seems to carry the lyrics much better then the guys. Anywho, this will probably get a fair amount of airtime, then will be subsequently forgotten.

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield
Jordin Sparks, from American Idol fame, provides actually a very decent (although cliche heavy) love-club hit. The song is "Battlefield" from her 2009 album Battlefield. Enjoy, but disregard the sappiness.

Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head
A dance classic created by Kylie Minogue when her career re-surged in the early 2000s. Enjoy!

Vampire Weekend - Cousins
Vampire Weekend returns with their 2010 album Contra to continue dominance of the indie music movement. However, like many of their previous songs, "Cousins" still provides a Paul Simonish undertone to its music. Still, great listen.

Katy Perry - Hot n Cold
I'm sure almost everyone has heard this one. It dominated the airwaves in 2009. Just posting the video because I have a fondness for Katy Perry's "Hot n Cold". Sang it at a Karaoke night with one of my friends.

Hercules and Love Affair - Blind
Combining the vocals of Antony, a haunting under beat, and Greek mythology overtones, Hercules and Love Affair achieve a masterful sound from their track "Blind" on their 2009 self-titled album. Simply awesome.
Basement Jaxx - Good Luck
A favorite recovery song that I forgot about! Basement Jaxx's collaboration with Lisa Kekaula yielded a highly emotional sound on their 2003 album Kish Kash. For a more modern song, see "Raindrops" from their 2009 album Scars below. This video is a little NSFW.

Timbaland - The Way I Are
I'm developing a slight soft spot for Timbaland's work. Kinda an older one, but still good.
